The Wilson's Mills Public Works Department strives to maintain the safe passage, as well as the high quality and functionality of Town streets and street signs. The Street Department is responsible for over 10 miles of Town maintained streets, and street signs. The Town's main source of funding for streets is provided by the NCDOT Powell Bill Fund, which also supplies funds to help keep streets and road shoulders maintained and free of debris.
