The Town of Wilson’s Mills, a growing rural community in Johnston County, is currently seeking a qualified and motivated professional to serve as its full-time, on-site Human Resources Director. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, coordinating performance management, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws. The Director will also support strategic planning initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture. Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources. An associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, and previous experience in government is a plus. The salary range for this position is $66,000 to $99,165, depending on qualifications and experience. The Town offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid premiums for health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as participation in the NC Retirement System and optional 401(k) and 457(b) retirement savings plans. The Town of Wilson’s Mills is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Public Works team! Help keep our community running by maintaining Town buildings, parks, streets, signage, and equipment. This hands-on role also includes supporting local events, basic vehicle servicing, and assisting with animal control duties. High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. Must have a valid NC driver’s license.
