The Human Resources Department is committed to supporting employees at every stage, from application to retirement. The Human Resources Department is responsible for recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits administration, training and development, employee recognition, personnel policy management, workers' compensation, leave administration, and employee wellness support. The department is also responsible for ensuring that the Town of Wilson's Mills is in compliance with all federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.

An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing police department operations, supervising Sergeants, and providing leadership in administrative, personnel, and operational matters. Assists with strategic planning, budgeting, policy development, hiring and promotions, crime trend analysis, community relations, and major incident response while supporting the Police Chief in achieving departmental goals and ensuring effective public safety services.
